Deployment Workflow

Here are the high-level notes about the process diagram below

  1. As an Andes mission lead, your work starts out in a pre-production environment (i.e., “pre-prod”). If you are in Gulf, Quebec or Maritimes region, you can access this environment here: http://http://andes-preprod-east.ent.dfo-mpo.ca/
  2. Once you are happy with how your mission looks and behaves on pre-prod, the work you did will be exported to the production environment, e.g., a vessel.
  3. After the mission is back, there is an option to continue working on the production environment, as if you were still in the field (i.e., “post-prod”).
  4. The final step in the workflow is that the data is exported from ANDES and stored in a downstream data repository (e.g., DFO regional Oracle database).
