Configuration of Moxa NPort 5150A to forward serial data to UPD

If your andes network subnet is set to 255.255.0.0, you should be able to log onto the moxa server via 192.168.127.254.

default user = admin
default password = moxa

  1. Basic settings > Telnet Console > Enable > Submit
  2. From a shell from within the Andes network: telnet 192.168.127.254 (then enter credentials)
  3. Serial settings > Baud rate > [set baud rate]

Operation Modes

  • operation mode = UDP
  • destination IP address 1 = andes server (for both start + end)
  • destination port 1 = xxxx
  • packing length = 0
  • delimiter 1 = 0d (+ Enabled)
  • delimiter process = Delimiter+1
  • force transmit = 0
